Method

Cocktail

1

Build and shake

Add the High West Double Rye Whiskey, Mi Campo Reposado Tequila, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters to a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes cold.

2

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or mule mug with cracked ice or ice cubes (about 1 cup). Strain the shaken mixture over the ice.

3

Top with ginger beer

Gently top the drink with about 4 oz chilled ginger beer. Stir once or twice gently with a bar spoon to integrate, taking care not to flatten the ginger beer's fizz.

Garnish & Serve

4

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge perched on the rim. If desired, skewer a piece of candied ginger and balance it on the lime for an extra spicy-sweet note and a distinctive Wild West presentation.

5

Serve immediately with a straw. Enjoy responsibly.
