Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Glass

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes to chill it while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Muddle the Mint

In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and twist the leaves to release their essential oils. Do this carefully to avoid tearing the leaves too much.

3

Add Ingredients

To the muddled mint in the shaker, add the Chartreuse Green Liqueur, gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.

4

Shake the Cocktail

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

5

Strain into Glass

Remove the ice from the highball glass and strain the cocktail mixture into it, using a fine mesh strainer if desired to catch any mint bits.

6

Top with Club Soda

Gently pour the club soda over the cocktail to top it off. This will add a refreshing fizz.

7

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon wheel on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy!
