Method
Cocktail
Combine and chill
Add reposado tequila, coffee liqueur, amber vermouth, Braulio, and orange bitters into a mixing glass or shaker filled roughly halfway with ice.
Stir to dilute
Stir gently but thoroughly for 25–30 seconds (about 20–30 full revolutions) until the mixture is well-chilled and slightly diluted. If you prefer a slightly more aerated texture, you can lightly shake for 6–8 seconds, but stirring is recommended to preserve clarity.
Prepare serving glass
Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice (large cube or 3–4 medium cubes).
Strain
Double-strain the chilled mixture into the prepared rocks glass over the fresh ice to avoid any small ice shards.
Garnish & Finish
Express & garnish
Hold an orange peel over the drink with the outer (zest) side facing down about 2–3 inches above the glass and give it a firm twist to express the oils onto the surface. Rub the peel around the rim of the glass, then drop it into the drink. Optionally, float a single whole coffee bean on top as an aromatic accent.
Serve immediately while cold and aromatic.
