Preparation Instructions

1

Prep the Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine juniper berries, cardamom pods, and dried orange peel.

2

Infuse the Flavors

Add the mixture to a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to extract the flavors.

3

Strain the Mixture

After simmering, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a separate container to remove solids. Allow the infusion to cool.

4

Combine with Tonic

In a large glass or pitcher, combine the cooled infusion with 3 cups of tonic water. Stir gently to mix.

5

Serve

Pour the juniper and tonic mixture over ice and garnish with a slice of orange or additional juniper berries if desired.
