Directions

1

Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

2

Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.

3

Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan. Be cautious as the bags will be hot.

4

Sweeten the Tea

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste if desired.

5

Cool the Tea

Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, you can place it in the refrigerator to chill further for about 30 minutes.

6

Serve

In a glass, add 2 cups of ice cubes. Pour the chilled tea over the ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
