Method

Preparation of Espresso

1

Brew the Espresso

Using an espresso machine, brew 2 shots of espresso. If you don't have an espresso machine, you can use a stovetop Moka pot or a French press to make strong coffee.

Milk Frothing

2

Heat the Milk

In a saucepan, heat either 1 cup of whole milk or oat milk over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.

3

Froth the Milk

Use a milk frother or a whisk to froth the heated milk until it has doubled in volume and is creamy.

Combining Ingredients

4

Combine Espresso and Milk

In a large mug, pour the brewed espresso and gently add the frothed milk on top. For a latte, keep the milk more liquid; for a cappuccino, use a thicker froth.

5

Add Toppings

Sprinkle cocoa powder on top for garnish. Add sugar to taste if desired.
