Method

Fruit & Base

1

Prepare fruit

If using frozen berries, measure 1½ cups. Peel the banana and break into chunks so it blends evenly.

2

Add the frozen berries, banana, 1 cup yogurt and ½ cup cold milk to the blender jar. These create the smoothie’s body and texture.

Sweetener & Flavor

3

Add 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice to the blender. The lemon brightens the berry flavors and the vanilla adds warmth.

Add-ins (optional)

4

If using, add 1 teaspoon chia seeds and 2 tablespoons rolled oats for fiber and texture. Add 1 scoop protein powder if desired for extra protein. If you prefer a thicker, colder smoothie, add 4 ice cubes.

5

Note: If you add dry ingredients (oats, chia, protein), you may need an extra 1–2 tablespoons of milk to reach desired consistency.

Blend

6

Secure the blender lid. Start blending on low speed for 10–15 seconds to break up large pieces, then increase to high speed and blend for 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed, then blend an additional 10–15 seconds.

Serve & Garnish

7

Pour the smoothie into a 16–20 oz glass. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed (add up to 1 more teaspoon honey/maple).

8

Garnish with 3 fresh mint leaves and an extra berry or banana slice on the rim. Serve immediately.

Storage

9

Consume immediately for best texture. If storing, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours; stir/shake before drinking. Re-blend briefly with a splash of milk if separation occurs.
