Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or coupe glass. Pour coarse salt onto a small plate and gently press the glass rim into the salt to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.

2

Build the cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, add Casamigos Blanco tequila (2 oz), Western Son Blueberry Vodka (0.75 oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.25 oz), agave syrup (0.5 oz) and blueberry purée or 4–6 muddled blueberries (0.5 oz).

3

Shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup), secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is very cold and the ingredients are well combined.

4

Double strain and serve

Double strain the cocktail into the prepared salt-rimmed glass over fresh ice (if serving on the rocks) or without ice if serving up. Double straining (through a fine mesh) removes berry solids for a smooth drink.

Garnish & Serve

5

Garnish the finished margarita with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and 4–5 fresh blueberries dropped into the drink or skewered on a pick. Serve immediately.
