1

Muddle and shake

In a cocktail shaker, add the 3 cucumber slices and the 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice. Muddle gently 4–6 times to release cucumber juices without pulverizing skin. Add 2 oz Prairie Organic Cucumber Vodka and 0.25 oz simple syrup if you prefer a slightly sweeter drink. Fill the shaker halfway with ice (about 1/2 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled.

2

Prepare glass

Fill a rocks glass with ice about 3/4 full (use remaining ice to reach approximately 1 cup total in glass). If desired, rub the lemon wheel around the rim and drop it into the glass for aroma.

3

Strain and top

Double-strain the shaken contents (using a julep or fine strainer) into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice to remove cucumber solids. Top with 3 oz grapefruit soda, pouring gently to preserve carbonation. Stir once lightly with a bar spoon to combine.

4

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a cucumber slice on the rim and a sprig of fresh mint, and place the lemon wheel in the glass or on the rim. Serve immediately with a short straw.
