Method
Marinate Chicken
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook Chicken and Vegetables
Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
Sauté the Vegetables
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are soft and slightly caramelized.
Assemble Sliders
Prepare the Buns
Slice the Hawaiian buns in half. Place a few pieces of grilled chicken on the bottom half of each bun.
Add Toppings
Top the chicken with sautéed peppers and onions, then place a slice of American cheese on top. Optionally, add shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes.
Finish Sliders
Cover with the top half of the buns. If desired, you can briefly grill the assembled sliders to melt the cheese.
Prepare Fries
Cook the Fries
Prepare the frozen fries according to the package instructions, usually baking or frying until golden and crispy. Season with salt to taste.
