Ensure the Pepsi bottle or can has been refrigerated for at least 2 hours prior to serving so the beverage is cold (around 35-45°F / 2-7°C).
Prepare glass
Select a clean 16 oz serving glass. If desired, add 6 ice cubes to the glass to keep the drink cold and slightly dilute it as it melts.
Pour
Hold the chilled Pepsi can or bottle at a slight angle and slowly pour 12 oz of Pepsi into the glass over the ice. Pouring slowly and at an angle reduces excessive foaming.
Serve
Place a straw if desired and serve immediately while cold to preserve carbonation and flavor.
