Preparation

1

Brew the Green Tea

Start by brewing a strong cup of green tea. Use 1 tablespoon of loose leaf green tea or 1 tea bag for every 8 oz of water. Steep for 3-5 minutes, then let it cool down.

2

Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly. Slice it into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. Reserve 4 slices for garnish.

3

Mix the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, add the gin, Averna, cooled green tea, and lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

4

Strain the Mixture

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the cocktail mixture into a chilled glass, preferably a highball or a coupe glass.

5

Top with Prosecco

Gently pour the prosecco over the cocktail mixture in the glass. This will add a refreshing fizz to your drink.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with the reserved cucumber slices. You can also add a lemon twist for extra flair. Serve immediately and enjoy!
