Ingredients for Camarones al Ajo

Method

Directions for Preparing Camarones al Ajo

1

Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Dredge the shrimp in flour, shaking off the excess.

2

Fry the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

3

Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

4

Add Cream and Finish

Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

5

Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle chopped parsley over the shrimp and serve hot.
