Lomo Saltado Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Meat

Slice the entraña meat into thin strips against the grain. Season with salt and black pepper.

2

Sauté the Onions and Garlic

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced red onion and minced garlic cloves, cooking until the onions are translucent.

3

Cook the Meat

Add the seasoned entraña meat to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Add Vegetables

Stir in the sliced tomatoes and yellow bell pepper. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

5

Add Soy Sauce and Vinegar

Pour in the soy sauce and vinegar, mixing well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

6

Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro. Serve the Lomo Saltado over a bed of cooked rice with a side of French fries.
