Coconut Wash
In a small glass, combine coconut water with bourbon. Stir gently to mix and let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Strain the mixture into a cocktail shaker.
Shake
Add falernum and Angostura bitters to the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass or an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
