Sautéed Romano Beans and Kale

Pine Nut Garnish

Method

Prepare the Hanger Steak

1

Season the Steak

Rub the hanger steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.

2

Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Sauté the Vegetables

3

Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4

Add Romano Beans and Kale

Add the Romano beans and chopped kale to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until the kale is wilted and the beans are heated through.

Serve the Dish

5

Plate the Meal

Slice the rested hanger steak against the grain. Serve it on a plate with the sautéed Romano beans and kale. Garnish with toasted pine nuts.
