Prepare glass
Select a rocks glass (for a shorter presentation) or a highball glass (for more beer). If you prefer the bourbon served chilled, add 2–3 ice cubes to the glass. Otherwise serve neat with the beer chilled separately.
Add beer
Open one can of Bitterroot Brewing Dirt Church and slowly pour it into the glass over the back of a spoon or down the side to preserve carbonation. Pour enough beer to fill the glass to your preference — typically the full can if using a highball glass, or about 4–6 fl oz if using a rocks glass so the bourbon stays prominent.
Service notes
This is a simple two-component drink: the bourbon provides warmth and oak while the Dirt Church beer contributes bitterness, malt, and carbonation. Adjust the bourbon-to-beer ratio to taste — more bourbon for a stronger cocktail, more beer for a lighter, more refreshing drink. Clean and chill glassware and beer for best results.
