Prepare Strawberries
Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Reserve a few for garnish and chop the rest into halves or quarters.
Make Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Allow to cool before using.
Mixing
Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vanilla vodka, triple sec, fresh chopped strawberries, orange juice, and simple syrup.
Shake It Up
Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix and chill the ingredients.
Serving
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or a tall glass filled with ice.
Garnish
