Prosecco Base

Cocktail Mix

Method

Mixing

1

Combine cocktail ingredients

Add the fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and Green Chartreuse to a mixing glass. If you prefer the Prosecco colder and slightly more integrated, add 3 ice cubes to the mixing glass; otherwise omit ice to retain maximum effervescence.

2

Stir and chill

If using ice, stir the mixture gently for about 10 seconds to chill and dilute slightly. Then strain the mixture into a chilled flute or coupe. If you did not use ice, simply pour the small mixture directly into the glass.

Finish

3

Top with Prosecco

Carefully top the prepared citrus–Chartreuse mixture with 5 fl oz of chilled Prosecco. Pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve bubbles.

4

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and a fresh mint sprig tucked alongside. Serve immediately while the Prosecco is bright and effervescent.
