Method
Prepare Strawberry-Lime Concentrate
Macerate strawberries
Place the 6 hulled and sliced strawberries in a medium bowl. Add the 1.5 tablespoons agave syrup and 2 tablespoons (0.5 oz) of the fresh lime juice. Gently toss to coat and let sit 5 minutes to macerate and release juices.
Blend
Transfer the macerated strawberries (including any released juices) to a blender. Add the remaining 1.5 ounces of fresh lime juice and 2 ounces cold water. Blend on high until smooth, about 20–30 seconds. If you prefer a slightly pulpy refresco, pulse instead of fully smooth.
Strain (optional)
For a smoother drink, strain the blended strawberry-lime mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or measuring cup, pressing on solids to extract liquid. Discard solids or reserve for another use. You should have roughly 3–4 ounces of concentrate.
Assemble Refresco
Fill a tall glass (16–20 oz capacity) with about 1 cup of ice cubes.
Pour the strained (or unstrained) strawberry-lime concentrate over the ice.
Slowly pour 12 oz Ghost® Energy Original over the concentrate and ice to preserve a layered look if desired. Stir gently once or twice with a bar spoon to combine flavors without flattening carbonation too much.
Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity: if you want it sweeter, add up to 1 teaspoon agave and gently stir; if brighter, squeeze an additional 1/2 lime wedge.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with 2 lime wheels on the rim and 3 strawberry slices on a pick or floated on top. Add 4 mint leaves for aroma, gently slap the mint between your palms before placing to release oils.
Serve immediately with a straw. Consume cold; do not store long after mixing to preserve carbonation and freshness.
