Method

Brewing Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

2

Add Tea Leaves or Tea Bags

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and add 4 tsp of tea leaves or 4 tea bags. If using loose leaves, consider using a tea infuser.

3

Steep the Tea

Let the tea steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Adjust the steeping time according to your taste preference.

4

Strain the Tea

If you used loose tea leaves, strain the tea into a teapot or directly into mugs. If you used tea bags, simply remove the bags.

Flavoring the Tea

5

Add Sweetener

If desired, add sugar or honey to taste while the tea is still warm, stirring until dissolved.

6

Add Milk or Lemon

Pour in milk for a creamy tea or add lemon slices for a refreshing twist. Stir gently to combine.

7

Serve

Pour the tea into cups and enjoy hot. You can also let it cool and serve over ice for a refreshing iced tea.
