Fries

Method

Fries

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, ensuring they are uniform in size for even cooking.

2

Soak the Potatoes

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

3

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the soaked and drained potatoes to the hot oil in small batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

5

Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt and paprika to taste.

Drink

6

Prepare the Drink

In a large glass or pitcher, combine the sparkling water and lemon juice. Stir gently to mix.

7

Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill the drink.

8

Garnish

Add fresh mint leaves on top for a refreshing touch. You can also muddle them slightly for more flavor.

9

Serve

Serve the drink immediately with the fries for a perfect combo!
