Method

Fried Rice

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients for the fried rice. Ensure the rice is already cooked and cooled to prevent clumping.

2

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.

3

Sauté the Vegetables

Add the diced onion and carrot to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and the carrots are tender.

4

Add Peas and Rice

Stir in the peas and cooked rice. Mix well to combine everything and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

5

Add Soy Sauce and Eggs

Pour in the soy sauce and stir well. Push the rice mixture to one side of the skillet and pour in the beaten eggs on the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix everything together.

6

Season and Serve

Add salt and black pepper to taste, then stir in the sliced green onions. Cook for an additional minute and serve hot.
