Preparing the Tea

1

Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

2

Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes.

3

Remove Tea Bags

After 5 minutes, remove the tea bags from the water and discard them.

Sweetening the Tea (Optional)

4

Add Sweetener

If desired, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or 0.5 cup of honey to the hot tea. Stir until completely dissolved.

Flavoring the Tea (Optional)

5

Add Flavorings

To enhance the flavor, add 0.5 cup of fresh lemon juice, a bunch of fresh mint leaves, or 1 cup of peach slices to the tea. Stir well.

Cooling and Serving

6

Cool the Tea

Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 2 hours until chilled.

7

Serve

To serve, fill glasses with 1 cup of ice cubes each. Pour the chilled tea over the ice and garnish with additional lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
