Cheese Dip Directions

1

Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend until smooth and well combined.

2

Add Sour Cream and Spices

To the cheese mixture, add the sour cream, diced green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. If you like it spicy, finely chop the jalapeño and add it to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

3

Heat the Dip

Transfer the cheese dip mixture to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy, approximately 5-7 minutes.

4

Serve

Once the cheese dip is smooth and heated through, remove from heat. Serve warm with tortilla chips, vegetables, or as a topping for nachos.
