Ice Cream Preparation

1

Mix Ice Cream Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk together until the sugar is fully dissolved.

2

Add Flavoring

Choose your flavoring ingredient of the day (e.g., pureed strawberries, chocolate syrup) and fold it into the ice cream base mixture until evenly combined.

3

Chill Mixture

Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until it is well chilled.

4

Churn

Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

5

Freeze

Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Sorbet Preparation

6

Prepare Sorbet Base

In a medium saucepan, combine water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.

7

Add Fruit Puree

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the fruit puree of your choice and lemon juice until fully combined.

8

Chill Mixture

Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
