Prepare glass rim

Run the lime wedge around the outer rim of a highball or pint glass. Mix the coarse salt and smoked paprika on a small plate and dip the rim into the mixture to coat evenly. Set glass aside.

Place a few ice cubes into the prepared glass and set aside to chill while you mix the cocktail.

In a mixing glass or shaker filled with ice, combine 2 oz Absolut Vodka and 4 oz Mott's Clamato.

Add 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish, 3 drops Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, and 1/4 tsp celery salt to the drink. If you like extra heat, add 3 drops hot sauce here.

Stir the mixture gently for about 10–15 seconds with a bar spoon (do not shake vigorously — you want to keep the tomato-clam body rather than aerate it). Taste and adjust seasoning: add another 1/4 tsp horseradish or an extra dropper of hot sauce if you prefer more bite.

Discard ice from the chilled, rimmed glass and add fresh ice if desired. Strain the mixed cocktail into the prepared glass over ice.

Garnish with a celery stalk and a lime wedge. Optionally skewer a pickled green bean or olive and rest it across the rim. Serve immediately.
