Method
In a mixing glass, combine 60 ml Rittenhouse 100 Rye Whiskey, 15 ml corn syrup (light), 15 ml barley malt syrup, 2 ml red pepper tincture, and 2 ml leather bitters.
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for 20–25 seconds until well-chilled and lightly diluted.
Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass. Garnish with a thin orange twist to elevate aroma if desired.
