Cooking the Potatoes

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.

2

Roast the Potatoes

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Cooking the Carne Asada

3

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4

Grill the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let it rest before slicing.

Making the Prawns in Salsa Macha

5

Prepare the Salsa Macha

Soak the dried chilies in hot water for about 15 minutes. Drain and blend with minced garlic and olive oil until smooth.

6

Cook the Prawns

In a skillet, heat the salsa macha over medium heat. Add the prawns and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt to taste.
