Add the cooked pinto beans to the skillet with the onion and garlic. Use a potato masher to mash the beans to your desired consistency.

Stir in the cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.

Fold in the chicharrón pieces, allowing them to warm through and combine with the beans.
