Method
Preparation Steps
Brew the Coffee
Brew 2 cups of your favorite coffee and set it aside to cool at room temperature.
Prepare the Jalapeno
Slice the jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds if you want to reduce the heat.
Combine Ingredients
In a large jar or container, combine the cooled coffee, granulated sugar, vodka, sliced jalapeno, vanilla extract, lime juice, and the cinnamon stick.
Infusion
Seal the jar tightly and shake it gently to mix all the ingredients. Let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 3 days, shaking occasionally.
Strain and Bottle
After 3 days, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the solids. Pour the liqueur into a clean bottle.
Serve
Your Fair Mexican Coffee Liqueur is ready! Serve it over ice or use it in cocktails.
