Method
Well Whiskey Highball (Whiskey + Soda)
Build
Fill a highball glass with ice cubes (about 3/4 full). Pour 2 oz blended whiskey over the ice. Add 6 oz club soda. Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
Rum & Cola (Rum + Cola)
Build
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add 2 oz light rum. Top with 6 oz cola. Briefly stir to incorporate. Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
Vodka Ginger (Vodka + Ginger Ale)
Build
Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour 2 oz vodka over the ice, then add 6 oz ginger ale. Stir lightly. Squeeze a lime wedge over the drink and drop the wedge in as garnish.
Gin & Tonic (Gin + Tonic)
Tequila Simple (Tequila + Sweet & Sour)
Shake & Strain (optional)
If you prefer a slightly chilled, integrated tequila drink, fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add 2 oz tequila blanco, 1.5 oz sweet & sour mix and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, then shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Well Margarita-ish (Tequila + Triple Sec + Lime)
Quick Build
For a simple well margarita variant, combine 2 oz tequila, 0.5 oz triple sec and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake 10 seconds and strain into a salt-rimmed glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Service Notes
All well drinks are designed for speed and consistency at a busy bar. Use the listed well spirit and the paired mixer to make a quick highball or mixed cocktail. Adjust mixer volume to taste (6 oz is a guideline for a 10–12 oz served drink). Always stir carbonated mixers gently to preserve effervescence. Keep garnishes prepared and ice plentiful.
