Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup).
Pour 1.5 oz vodka and 0.5 oz peach schnapps into the shaker.
Add 2 oz orange juice and 2 oz cranberry juice to the shaker.
Add 0.25 oz fresh lime juice (optional — brightens the flavors).
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
Fill a highball glass or hurricane glass with fresh ice.
Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.
If desired, gently pour a small splash (0.25 oz) additional cranberry juice down the side of the glass for a layered look.
Garnish
Garnish with an orange wheel on the rim and a maraschino cherry dropped into the drink.
Serve immediately with a straw.
