Chill a coupe glass in the freezer or by filling with ice for a few minutes.
In a shaker, add 60 ml Hennessy Paradis Cognac, 15 ml orange liqueur, 7.5 ml honey syrup, 7 ml fresh lemon juice, and 2 dashes orange bitters. Fill the shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled coupe glass.
Top with 15 ml sparkling wine or Champagne. Express the oils from an orange twist over the glass and drop the twist in as a garnish.
Serve immediately and enjoy the balanced, cognac-forward Paradis cocktail.
