Rose-Cranberry Syrup

Eranberry Roses Sparkling Cooler

Method

Rose-Cranberry Syrup

1

In a medium saucepan, combine cranberry juice, sugar, and water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, whisking until the sugar dissolves.

2

Lower the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly and takes on a syrupy texture.

3

Remove from heat and stir in rose water and the optional dried rose petals. Let the mixture steep off the heat for 10–15 minutes to infuse the floral aroma.

4

Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar and discard the petals. Cool completely before using. Refrigerate up to 1 week.
