Cheese Ravioli

Mashed Potatoes

Method

Cheese Ravioli

1

Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

2

Cook Ravioli

Carefully add 400g of fresh cheese ravioli to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes, until they float to the surface.

3

Drain

Once cooked, gently drain the ravioli in a colander and set aside. Do not rinse.

4

Serve

Place the cooked ravioli on a plate. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with 50g of grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.

Mashed Potatoes

5

Prepare Potatoes

Peel and chop 600g of potatoes into even-sized pieces.

6

Boil Potatoes

Place the chopped potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender.

7

Drain and Mash

Once the potatoes are tender, drain them thoroughly. Add 50g of butter, 100ml of milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

8

Serve

Spoon the mashed potatoes onto a plate alongside the cheese ravioli.
