1

Prepare glass

Choose a highball or mule mug and fill it with ice (about 1 cup) to chill the glass and keep the drink cold.

2

Combine spirits and lime

In a cocktail shaker (or mixing glass) add 1.5 oz Tennessee whiskey, 0.5 oz Tennessee Honey liqueur, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice. Fill the shaker halfway with ice.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold. This chills and lightly dilutes the spirit mixture.

4

Assemble drink

Discard any excess water from the chilled serving glass if necessary. Strain the shaken whiskey-honey-lime mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.

5

Top with ginger beer

Slowly pour 4 oz chilled ginger beer over the strained mixture to preserve carbonation. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to integrate flavors without flattening the ginger beer.

6

Garnish and serve

Float or place a lime wheel on the rim or surface of the drink. Serve immediately with a short straw or stirrer so the guest can adjust taste.

7

Optional adjustments

For a sweeter drink, add 0.25 oz more Tennessee Honey. For more citrus brightness, increase fresh lime juice to 0.75 oz. Adjust ginger beer quantity to taste or glass size.
