Directions

1

Prepare Vanilla Ice Cream Base

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.

2

Chill Vanilla Base

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the vanilla mixture for at least 2 hours, or until it's completely chilled.

3

Prepare Chocolate Ice Cream Base

In another mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and the cocoa is fully incorporated.

4

Chill Chocolate Base

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the chocolate mixture for at least 2 hours, or until it's completely chilled.

5

Churn Ice Cream

Once both mixtures are chilled, pour each into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

6

Freeze Ice Cream

Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
