Method
Cocktail
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 6 ice cubes, 2 tablespoons vodka, 1 tablespoon Soho lychee liqueur, 2 tablespoons lychee juice, and 1/2 tablespoon fresh lime juice. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add 1/2 teaspoon simple syrup.
Shake
Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 10β15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold and the mixture is well-chilled and slightly diluted.
Prepare garnish
Discard the ice water from the chilled glass. Thread a whole canned lychee (drained) onto a small cocktail pick or skewer; add a mint sprig if using.
Strain and serve
Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer (or just a strainer) to remove ice shards. Garnish with the lychee on the pick and the mint sprig placed on the rim.
Optional variation β Lychee on the Rocks
For a longer drink, build the cocktail in a rocks glass: add fresh ice to the glass, pour in the measured ingredients (vodka, Soho lychee liqueur, lychee juice, lime juice, and simple syrup if using), stir gently for 10 seconds, then garnish.
