Build and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add blanco tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice and agave syrup to the shaker. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled.
Combine with Chardonnay
Strain the shaken mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Pour the chilled American Chardonnay over the back of a spoon into the glass (or gently pour) to combine — aim to keep some layering but allow flavors to marry. Stir gently once with a bar spoon to integrate, about 3 slow turns.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and optionally float a thin apple slice on top for an aromatic touch. Serve immediately with a short straw or stir stick.
