Meatballs

1

Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine the Berkshire pork, Wagyu beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

2

Form and Bake

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.

Marinara Sauce

3

Cook the Sauce

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Stir in crushed San Marzano tomatoes, salt, black pepper, sugar, and fresh basil leaves. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Basil Pesto

4

Make the Pesto

In a food processor, combine fresh basil leaves, olive oil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and adjust seasoning to taste.

Spaghetti

5

Cook the Spaghetti

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Assembly

6

Serve

In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, and baked meatballs. Top with basil pesto before serving.
