Method

Tea Preparation

1

Brew the Tea

In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.

Syrup Preparation

2

Make the Passionfruit Syrup

In another saucepan, combine 1 cup of passionfruit puree, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow the syrup to simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool.

Assembly

3

Mix the Drink

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled black tea and the passionfruit syrup. Stir well to combine. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more syrup if desired.

4

Serve

Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the passionfruit iced tea over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves. Serve immediately.
