Prepare glass
Fill a highball or Collins glass with cubed ice until about 3/4 full.
Build
Pour 2 oz Captain Morgan Spiced Rum over the ice, followed by 0.5 oz fresh lime juice and 0.5 oz simple syrup.
Top and finish
Top with about 4 oz ginger beer. Add 2 dashes Angostura bitters on top. Give the drink a gentle stir (2–3 rotations) with a bar spoon to integrate ingredients without flattening the ginger beer.
Garnish and serve
Express the oils of one lime wedge over the drink and drop it in. Optionally slap a mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and rest it on the drink. Serve with a straw.
