Base Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pans by greasing them lightly.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.

3

Cream Butter and Sugar

In another bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add the dry mixture and continue mixing until smooth.

4

Add Eggs and Milk

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour in the milk and vanilla extract, stirring until fully incorporated.

5

Pour Batter into Pans

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared baking pans and smooth the tops.

6

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7

Cool the Cakes

Remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Frosting Preparation

8

Prepare the Cream Cheese Frosting

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended.

9

Whip the Cream

In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.

Assembly and Decoration

10

Layer the Cakes

Place one layer of cake on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese frosting on top.

11

Add Second Layer

Place the second layer of cake on top and spread frosting over the top and sides of the cake.

12

Decorate

Arrange fresh berries and mint leaves on top of the cake for decoration.
