Limoncello Spritz Recipe

Chill glass

Place a wine or large stemmed glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill briefly with ice water while you prepare other ingredients, then discard ice water.

Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the chilled glass, leaving room for liquid without overflowing.

Pour 2 fl oz limoncello over the ice.

Slowly add 3 fl oz chilled prosecco. Pour gently down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon to preserve effervescence.

Top with 1 fl oz chilled lemon soda to add brightness and a touch of sweetness. Stir gently once with a bar spoon 2–3 times to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to keep bubbles.

Taste and adjust: if you prefer a lighter, less sweet drink, add an additional 0.5–1 fl oz lemon soda and reduce prosecco by same amount; if stronger, add a splash more limoncello.

Garnish the rim or float a lemon wheel in the glass. If using, slap the mint sprig between your palms once to release aroma and tuck it beside the lemon.

Serve immediately with a short straw or stirrer so the drink remains fizzy.
