Ingredients for Spiced Tequila-Lime Shrimp Skewers

Method

Directions for Cooking Spiced Tequila-Lime Shrimp Skewers

1

Marinate the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine tequila, fresh lime juice, smoked chipotle powder, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Prepare the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

3

Skewer the Shrimp

Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.

4

Grill the Shrimp

Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.

5

Serve

Remove the skewers from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
