Cooking Instructions

1

Prep the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients: large eggs, salt, black pepper, butter, and chopped chives.

2

Whisk the Eggs

In a medium bowl, crack the 4 large eggs. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Whisk together until the mixture is fully combined and slightly frothy.

3

Heat the Pan

In a non-stick skillet, heat 2 tbs of butter over medium heat until melted and slightly bubbly.

4

Cook the Eggs

Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet. Allow the eggs to cook undisturbed for about 30 seconds until they start to set around the edges.

5

Stir Gently

Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs, pushing them from the edges toward the center. Continue to do this until the eggs are mostly cooked but still slightly runny.

6

Finish Cooking

Remove the skillet from the heat when the eggs are still slightly soft, as they will continue to cook from residual heat. This should take about 2-3 minutes.

7

Add Chives

Sprinkle 2 tbs of chopped chives over the top of the cooked eggs and gently fold them into the mixture.

8

Serve

Plate the scrambled eggs immediately and enjoy while hot.
