1

Prepare glass

Select a highball or Collins glass (12–14 oz). Fill the glass about three-quarters full with cubed ice to chill.

2

Mix base

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka, 3 oz pineapple juice, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice. Shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds until well chilled.

3

Strain and top

Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the ice. Leave a little room at the top for the grenadine sink (about 0.25–0.5 oz worth of space).

4

Create grenadine sink

Slowly pour 0.25 oz grenadine down the inside of the glass or over the back of a bar spoon so it sinks to the bottom and creates a layered red-to-golden gradient.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional pineapple wedge or leaf. Serve with a straw so the drinker can stir to combine if desired.
