Sorbetto 106

Juicy, sun-ripened lemon brings the zing, while sweet meringue, toasted coconut, and dreamy vanilla transform this Sour Ale into a decadent dessert in a glass. Bright citrus, fluffy marshmallow, creamy milk sugar, and hints of coconut cream make every sip taste like your favorite slice of lemon meringue pie—without ever needing a fork.

Directions

1

Prepare the Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

2

Cream the Butter and Sugar

In another bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until light and fluffy.

3

Combine Wet Ingredients

Add the eggs one at a time to the butter and sugar mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4

Mix the Batter

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Start and finish with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

5

Preheat and Prepare Baking Pan

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

6

Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7

Cool and Serve

Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
