Build the drink
Fill a highball glass with cubed ice until nearly full (about 1 cup).
Pour 2 oz Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum over the ice.
Add 0.5 oz fresh lime juice to brighten the drink.
Top with 4 oz cola. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine — avoid over-stirring to keep some carbonation.
Taste and, if desired, add 2 dashes Angostura bitters for added spice complexity. Stir gently to incorporate.
